These terms govern your use of the Bedtime Magic Stories app for ChatGPT (the "App"), operated by Avatar 8 LLC ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to these terms. Contact: ops@avatar33.com.

Who can use the App

The App is for adults (parents and caregivers) and for users allowed to use ChatGPT under OpenAI's terms. It is not intended for children to use on their own. An adult should review every story before reading it to a child.

What the App does

The App writes short bedtime stories from a first name, age, interests and theme you provide, and shows a preview. It can show a matching scene illustration, current printed-book options, and links to bedtimemagic.com, where printed hardcover books are made and ordered. The App itself sells nothing and takes no payment; any purchase happens on bedtimemagic.com under that site's terms.

Your inputs

Only share a first name or nickname and simple interests. Do not submit anything unlawful, hateful, or other people's private information. We may leave out inputs that are not suitable for a children's bedtime story.

Stories

Stories are generated automatically from templates and your inputs. They are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may read, print and share the stories you create for personal use. The App's software, design and the Bedtime Magic name remain ours.

No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avatar 8 LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App. The App is free to use, and our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.

Third-party services

ChatGPT is provided by OpenAI under its own terms. bedtimemagic.com and any purchase there are governed by that site's terms and policies.

Changes and ending use

We may change or discontinue the App or these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept it. You can stop using the App at any time by disconnecting it in ChatGPT.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
